Come and begin to experience the wonder of glass. Dates by arrangement.

Group classes (max 4) in a relaxed and safe environment. Students are asked to wear sensible shoes (no sandals) and please bring a full apron. Safety glasses and masks are provided when needed. A level, HND, Degree students, fellow artists are also welcome for more advanced projects.

Beginners fusing class –

Come and have a go at cutting cleaning and constructing glass to place in the kiln before fusing together and be introduced to possibilities of other glass techniques. You can make either 4 coasters or one dish or hanging (20cm x 20cm) area in total and you may have various samples to take away. The use of tools, glass, teaching, kiln firing and refreshments are all included in the price.

Fees: 3 hour session with break 9.30am-1.30pm or 2-5pm

Jewellery class –

Create your own glass cabochons to make into your own jewellery for necklaces or cufflinks.  Use of all tools and selection of glass included (Please let me know if specific colour required beforehand). Extra glass will be available to purchase. You will come away with 5 pendants or combination- total surface size 10cm x10cm of dichloric cabochons and coloured glass combinations 10cm x10cm.

Fee includes findings for 5 pendants or 5 sets of cufflinks (or combination) and 3 cotton black necklaces. Sterling silver and other necklaces plus gift boxes available for purchase.

Cost 3 hour session only £50 per person

Intermediate class –

Students use their own equipment- starter glass pack and kiln firing included. Further glass and thinfire ( paper required for firing)will be available to buy and slumping mould hire available. Class teaching content will vary as to what is requested by participating students- discuss with Jo your requirements when booking.

Cost only £60 for 5x 3hour sessions

Individual tuition- project based or studio space hire please ring Jo to discuss requirements.

Kiln hire available by arrangement- Flat bed Eurofuser 80x98cm internal £40 per day.

Paragon 35cm diameter up to 5 shelves flat £15 per day.
